New Haven Extends Closure Of School Bus Company After COVID Outbreak

The City of New Haven Department of Public Health announced Friday they will extend the shut down of school bus operator First Student after 11 positive coronavirus cases at the company. The bus company is used by New Haven Public Schools and several others in the school district. New Haven Public Schools has also indefinitely delayed their plans to begin hybrid learning. The city is currently at an orange alert state with 10 to 14 new daily cases per 100,000 people.
