Vegetarian Food With a Pleasure Mission

U.S. Department of Agriculture/flickr creative commons

While she's not a vegetarian, Dina Cheney decided those who are deserve veggie-centric food that delivers pure pleasure, or as she calls it, "A party in the mouth."

Meatless All Day is new and it has accomplished its mission, chock full of inspired vegetarian dishes that will not leave you wanting more. Her recipes include just the right amount of cheeses, textured nuts, global spice combinations and fresh herbs to convince even protein-lovers like me that vegetarian can rock.

Dina's recipes include mushroom maple bundles crisp from panko crumbs and zippy from a touch of crushed red pepper, PB&J french toast, indian spiced vegetable and paneer Stew, Greek stuffed peppers with feta and lemon-thyme breadcrumbs, Moroccan-spiced stuffed acorn squash, polenta lasagna with puttanesca sauce and herbed ricotta, and a pastry-encrusted beet Wellington with pinot noir sauce.

Because we are reaching out to station members this week, we'll send this book to you, or a vegetarian you adore, as thanks for your membership contribution
