CT-N

A state panel reviewing the Newtown school shooting heard from law enforcement professionals on Friday, including Newtown Police Chief Michael Kehoe, about incident management.

The Sandy Hook Advisory Commission, created by Gov. Dannel P. Malloy to come up with policy recommendations in the wake of the deadly mass shooting, heard presentations from state and local police and fire officials, including Newtown Police Chief Michael Kehoe.

A presentation was made about employee assistance programs for first responders. Additionally, Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Commissioner William Rubenstein discussed managing donations in light of such an event.
