The Yale Project on Climate Change Communication released its latest regular report called Americans' Actions to Conserve Energy, Reduce Waste, and Limit Global Warming.
Here to talk about the report is the director of The Yale Project on Climate Change Communication at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Anthony Leiserowitz.
The report is a snapshot of American's changing attitudes about conservation and global warming. Four years ago, 44 percent of Americans said it would make a lot of difference to take energy-saving steps to reduce global warming. In this latest poll, only 23 percent said it would.
In addition, more Americans are willing to contact a government official urging them to reduce global warming than they were in the past.
