In December, Connecticut regulators approved the $3 billion merger of Spanish firm Iberdrola and New Haven-based UIL Holdings. The news came just two weeks after the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority issued a draft decision OK-ing the deal.
This hour, we sit down with PURA Chairman Arthur House to find out what the new merger entails and how it affects local ratepayers. We also discuss Connecticut's energy infrastructure -- from natural gas expansion plans to the controversial Colebrook wind farm.
