Police say that only one Wesleyan University student remains hospitalized following a rash of drug overdoses last weekend that left a dozen people in need of medical treatment.
Lt. Heather Desmond of Middletown police said Thursday that the family of the patient at Hartford Hospital is not authorizing the release of details on the student's condition.
The patient was one of two students who were the most severely affected by the overdoses and airlifted to Hartford Hospital. One of the students has been discharged.
Four students were arrested in connection with the overdoses.
Authorities said the drug was presented as Molly, a form of MDMA or ecstasy, but was likely cut with other designer drugs. At least some of the victims attended a rave music party on campus Saturday night.
