The Nose Is Sad for Sad Ben Affleck

I get that it's stupid April Fools' Day, and so you can't trust anything you see on the stupid Internet. Except for the Trump quotes. The Trump quotes are just as legitimate today as they are on all the other days.

But so let me just make it clear right now that I'm totally serious when I say that on this edition of The Nose we talk about...

"Batman v Superman" v the Critics
So it sounds like "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is pretty terrible. And Ben Affleck is pretty sad about it. But it still made a pretty penny at the box office. So are the critics all irrelevant? Or is that just not how criticism works? Or is this bad movie making mad coin mostly because of all the hate watching?

Debra Messing v Susan Sarandon v Hillary Clinton
On Monday night on MSNBC's "All In with Chris Hayes," Oscar-winning actress, long-time liberal, and current Bernie Sanders surrogate Susan Sarandon characterized Donald Trump as the revolutionary that Hillary Clinton isn't. And it seemed like maybe she meant Trump is a better alternative to Sanders than Hillary is. And then white actress Twitter went crazy.

"Hamilton" v Whites v Type Casting
The smash hit Broadway musical "Hamilton" famously employs a largely non-white cast. But when it put out a casting call for "NON-WHITE" actors, controversy ensued, perhaps not surprisingly. So is that racism, or anti-racism, or anti-anti-racism racism?
