I swear we almost never pick the Nose panelists based on the topics we plan to discuss. (We barely ever even plan in the first place, to be honest.) I asked Mr. Dankosky -- former Vice President of News for WNPR, current Executive Editor of the New England News Collaborative -- weeks ago to make his Nose debut this Friday.
And then Representative Jim Himes walked out of a Congressional moment of silence and Senator Chris Murphy went all Jimmy Stewart and Connecticut had maybe its biggest news week of the year so far. And, of course, that was all part of a country reeling from a new tragedy in a seemingly never-ending stream of new tragedies.
Normally, we'd expect Nose regulars like Theresa Cramer and Taneisha Duggan to help a newbie like Mr. Dankosky through his first appearance on the show. I have a feeling this week it'll be the other way around.
Some stories we probably would've gotten to on any other week:
- Charles Barkley: Draymond Green Had 'Moral Obligation' To Punch LeBron James In The Nuts
- Video of Man Harassing Breast-feeding Mother at Torrington Target Goes Viral
- We Have Questions About the Glorious Public-Bathroom Sperm-Donor Piece in the New York Post
- Is Donald Trump's Endgame the Launch of Trump News?
GUESTS:
- Theresa Cramer - A writer and the editor of E Content Magazine, and founding editor of The Cut
- John Dankosky - Executive editor of the New England News Collaborative, and host of The Wheelhouse on WNPR
- Taneisha Duggan - Producing associate at Theater Works
Colin McEnroe, Greg Hill, and Chion Wolf contributed to this show.
