The CDC this week recommended women between the ages of 15 and 44 not drink alcohol unless they're on birth control. Why run the risk to the baby if there's a chance you could be pregnant and not yet know it?
Some question whether the caution against any alcohol instills a fear that outweighs the risk, while others chafe at thecondescensionthat targets only women, and not the men who get them pregnant.
Next, Washington Post editor Bob Woodward told MSNBC this week that Hillary Clinton "shouts" too much. He said there's "something unrelaxed about the way she's communicating."
Woodward is not alone. Research suggests most of us fall prey to implicit bias against women, who are far more likely than men to be seen as abrasive in their speech.
Lastly, the Hartford Yard Goats released their jingleWednesday. Do jingles have to be awful to be good? And, which feels worse: embarrassing yourself, or experiencing the cringe-worthy moments of others?
