Housing costs in Connecticut are high, median apartment prices are about $1,100 a month. And the state also has wide disparities, with some of the biggest concentrations of wealth and poverty in the nation.
A new report from the Urban League of Southern Connecticut and Quinnipiac University called "The State of Urban Connecticut 2019" looks at these disparities, and what they can tell us about housing in our region. Robert Brown III joins us, he’s a visiting professor of sociology at Quinnipiac University and one of the authors of the report.
