A Connecticut man has been sentenced to death for gunning down two adults and a child in Bridgeport in 2006. Former Trumbull resident Richard Roszkowski was convicted in 2009 for the murders of Holly Flannery, 39, her 9-year-old daughter, Kylie, and Thomas Gaudet, 38. Defense lawyers argued Roszkowski shouldn't be executed because he suffers from paranoid delusion disorder--but the prosecution denied Roszkowski is mentally ill. Under state law, there will be an automatic appeal of Roszkowski's death sentence.
