Catie started out as a bustling intern at WNPR in August 2006. She was hired in January 2007 as producer for the morning talk show Where We Live, where she develops show ideas, books guests, and edits sound. She also does general reporting and is the local Anchor for the public affairs program It's Your World. She got her start in documentary radio at the Salt Institute in Portland, Maine. Since then, her work has aired on PRI's The World, NPR's Day to Day, Weekend Edition Sunday, WBUR's Here and Now, the NPR PRX podcast, and other NPR affiliate stations. A native of Connecticut, Catie left for college vowing never to return to the Nutmeg State. After living in Massachusetts, California and Maine - she's back - and enjoys spending time with her large family, exploring the outdoors, and planning theme parties.
