London Bridge

Seven people were killed and more than forty were injured in the third attack in London in a few months time. If you're like writer Yascha Mounk, you may have reactednot with the shock and disorientation you would expect to feel in response to a barbaric and random act of violence, but the calm clarity of someone who has seen this before and is resigned to see it again.

Are we starting to normalize terror in the same way  we're normalizing the impulsive and irresponsible behaviors of President Trump? Instead of responding with sensitivity and humility to the violence in London, the president incited panic and fearand instigated a feud with London's mayor, Sadiq Khan.

Also this hour: When President Trump pulled out of the Paris Climate Accord last week, states and independent organizations vowed to honor America's commitment to it despite the lack of federal support.

Lastly, we take your calls. Tell us what's on your mind.
