Ready, Set...We're Going to Cleveland

The Republican National Convention kicks off in Cleveland today after several days of pre-convention fireworks, including efforts by anti-Trump delegates to change the rules, Trump's agonizing indecision on his VP, and a changing list of speakersthat will include more Trump family members than seasoned politicians.

In addition to this drama and the usual orchestrated stagecraft, the many anticipated protesters and supporters of Donald Trump's nomination will challenge the preparedness of Cleveland's police force - already under federal oversight by the Department of Justice for divisive police shootings that include the 2012 shooting of 12-year-old Tamir Rice.

We bring you news from Cleveland today - and again on Thursday, the final day of the convention.

GUESTS:

  • Ben Proto - Delegate for the Republican National Convention
  • Dan Haar - Columnist for the Hartford Courant
  • David Graham - Staff writer for The Atlantic covering politics and global news.
