Latino voters are overwhelmingly more likely to support Democratic candidates than Republicans, but that has been changing in recent years. The national GOP has talked a lot about being more “inclusive”, even as voter ID laws in places like Texas seem aimed squarely at reducing the number of Latinos able to vote.
In Connecticut, it seems candidates have done very little to court Latino voters -- leading us to question how big an impact this group will have on Tuesday's outcome.
This hour, we sit down with a panel of news experts and reporters from the Latino community to find out more about the issues concerning Latino voters today, and how political candidates have addressed these issues in their campaigns.
