Candidates Are Qualifying, And Finally A Commuter Rail

Jesus Garzon/ Connecticut Public Radio

We almost know who’s going to be on the ballot this August in the race for Governor. Republicans Bob Stefanowski and David Stemerman have officially gathered enough signatures. And so has Joe Ganim.

But what about the candidates who are on the ballot, but are still awaiting word on their citizen’s elections funding? We try to figure out what’s the holdup.

We also see how the week’s biggest news is playing out politically here - as eyes are on the U.S./Mexico border and the forced separation of immigrant families.

Plus, wanna take bets on sports betting in our state? How about the success of commuter rail?
